Well last week I have postponed my weekly roundups for this blog. I really had a challenging week because I purchased a new web hosting service. Before, I was so dependent on my sister and her hubby with my hosting needs since all my sites are hosted by them. I was really afraid to get my own host because I may not be able to maintain it. I have an office job so I need to focus at it than do some webhosting stuff.
With that set up I no longer have to maintain anything in line with my websites. There was one time though that my sisters’ host was suspended because it seems she reached the limit of usage. I was also affected by it of course, most of my sites disappeared and my postings are gone. Well anyway my sister managed the problem after several hours.
So from that time on they told me to get a new host so that the usage of my sisters’ host will be lessened. With all courage I accepted the challenge of getting my own webhost knowing that they will assist me because I didn’t have any idea on how to do webhosting.
I purchased a webhost and they thought me on how to transfer files through back up and all sorts of web stuff. I was lucky enough to have my sister and her hubby as my teachers because I can easily understand their instructions. They use only the Lemans term in all of their instructions if they talked so technical my brain would explode. Well that is all for today, I hope I can adjust on my new webhost.
