Some uses of vanilla

Vanilla has been described as an aphrodisiac. If you decide to use it for this purpose, you can use the essential oil mixed with a little sweet almond oil and use it as a massage oil or body oil. You can also spritz your skin with natural vanilla perfume and light-scented vanilla candles.

Vanilla has also been said to reduce fevers. You can put about a half teaspoon of pure vanilla extract into chamomile or green tea, sweeten it with a little honey and drink a cup about every hour until the fever goes down.

You can also use vanilla to help with a nervous stomach–it seems to calm the digestive track down. Just put about a half teaspoon to a teaspoon of the extract in some mineral water or in a cup of hot water sweetened with a little honey.
